How we pick your spot

Not every beach access allows bonfires. Walton County’s beach access chart marks which accesses allow fires, which allow none, and which allow only private fires with no vendor setups. When you book, we check the chart and the conditions for your night and suggest the closest access that works for your group.

  • Your fire sits at least 50 feet from the dunes and 100 feet from homes.
  • During sea turtle season (May 1 to October 31) we stay at least 200 feet from any marked nest.
  • We set up only at public beach accesses where the county allows vendor-run bonfires.

Questions about locations

Can you set up right behind our vacation rental?

We set up at public beach accesses only. Tell us where you’re staying and we’ll pick the closest access that allows bonfires, usually a short walk away.

Do you set up in Grayton Beach State Park or Topsail Hill?

No. State parks follow state rules and close at sunset, so we use county beach accesses nearby.

How far will we walk from the parking lot?

It depends on the access. We’ll tell you where to park and how to find your fire when we confirm.
