Terms of Service

Last updated October 2, 2026

These terms cover bonfire bookings with South Walton Bonfire Co (“we,” “us”). By sending a booking request or paying for a bonfire, you agree to them along with our weather, burn ban and refund policies.

Requests and confirmation

A request sent through our website is not a booking. Your bonfire is reserved only after we confirm the date and location and you complete payment. Prices shown online are for the base package and any additional guests; add-ons such as extra hours, extra chairs or a photographer are quoted when we confirm.

Permits and beach rules

We get the South Walton Fire District permit for your bonfire and set up only where Walton County rules allow. You agree to follow the posted beach rules and any instructions from our team, the fire district or the county. On a private beach, the property owner’s written permission is required before we can set up.

Your group

  • A South Walton Bonfire Co host stays with the fire the whole time, as the fire district requires. An adult (18 or older) from your group must be present for the booking.
  • Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
  • No glass containers, fireworks, lighter fluid or extra fuel near the fire.
  • Don’t move, adjust, refuel or add anything to the fire unit.
  • Alcohol, where you choose to bring it, is your responsibility and must follow Florida law and local rules.

Safety

Fire is hot, and the beach is uneven. You take part at your own risk and are responsible for your guests’ behavior. We may end a fire early, without a refund, if conditions become unsafe or if beach rules or these terms are broken.

Equipment and damage

Our fire units, chairs, blankets and other items remain our property. You’re responsible for loss or damage caused by your group beyond normal use.

Weather, cancellations and refunds

Weather calls, burn bans, sea turtle nests and cancellations are handled as described in our policies.

Photos

If you book a photographer, we may share a few photos from your night on our website or social media unless you tell us not to. Just reply to your confirmation email to opt out.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to a booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Walton County, Florida.
